Another Messy Divorce
A New York man, Richard Batista, currently in the middle of divorcing his wife, has demanded that she return the kidney he donated to her, during happier times one would imagine, or pay $1.5 million dollars as compensation for the “gift”. It is believed that he will be unsuccessful in his demands as there is no dollar value placed on human organs. We can only hope the couple didn’t have kids otherwise Batista’s lawyer may just show up, turkey baster in hand, demanding the return of his sperm.In other news, 72-year old Bernice Gallego discovered a 139 year old baseball card among some of her “junk” items. She tried to sell the card on Ebay, with bids starting at $10, but it turns out the card is valued in excess of $100,000. I’m off to California now to see if the dear old soul will accept my Ford Focus in exchange for the proceeds of the card sale.
